When is the best time to visit Las Coloradas?
Some very important aspect to consider if you are planning your visit, is choosing the right season when you could be able to see Las Coloradas it's best.
If you go in a not so great time, you can have a bad experience or it can really lower your expectations a lot. Sometimes, when people visit in the wrong time or season, they see a very different color. They are not just pink, the also can be orange, blue, red or brown.
So, if you want to really see its beauty in pink colors, you should visit in the months of
March and August between 11 AM to 3 PM, when the sun is at it's highest point.

When you visit remember that the waters are not healthy for people to swim because of its high concentration of salt and minerals that can damage the skin.
Instead, you can do a lot of activities or simply just admire it from the beach. Sound simple, but believe it me, it's worth it!

Because it's part of the business of the extraction of salt, it belongs to a private company. Keep in mind that the access is kind of limited and you need to follow the rules to not cause any trouble to the ecosystem.
